- To have a flash of inspiration = to get a sudden idea that helps you to create or achieve what you were hoping to do.
- To be a big fish in a small pond = to be very important or to have a lot of influence in a small area or group.
- To be a cold fish = to do not know to show your feelings or emotions.
- To be lost for words = to be very shocked about sth. so you can’t say any single word.
- To be packed like sardines = to be in a very crowded space (room, concert, stadium...).
- To be chock a block = to be in a very crowded space (street).
- To be like a duck to water = to feel comfortable and relaxed as you are very good at sth. .
- To blow your own trumpet = to boast about your achievements and abilities.
- To have a bee in your bonet about sth. = to be obssessed with sth. and cannot stop thinking about it.
- To be in someone's genes = to have the same personality traits as your parents, or do a similar job.
- To do not have a hair out of place = to be a charming person or to have a tidy, clean or perfect appearance.
- "If you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" = "If you do sth. for me, I'll do sth. special for you that you're not able to do by yourself".

- Soil = dirt/ earth.
- Coal = combustible which is formed down in earth as time goes by and normally used for making fire.
- Cattle station = large and limited area where thousands cows/ pigs/ sheep live.
- Cardboard = soft and thin material usually used for making cartons.
- Can = tin.
- Jar = Big glassed container.
- To pass a law = to get the approval of a rule.
- Landfill = dump.
- Lundromat = large shop plenty of enormous washing machines and dryers where you go to wash dirty chothes.
